The Nouvel Ensemble Métropolitain is composed of musicians from a number of different European and South America countries. Indeed the originality of this highest quality ensemble lies in this special blend of character an culture.
Since 1992 the group has performed as a trio, quartet, quintet…with a very wide repertoire of chamber music extending from Bach, Schubert, Stravinsky and Schoenberg to Astor Piazzolla.
The musicians, who are now based in Geneva, have played not only on many European stages (Lisbon, Madrid, London, Geneva), but also in Asia (Shanghai and Tokyo) and in South America (Buenos Aires)
